Install in four steps

Open the file you downloaded
It is called KoltypeSetup.exe and is usually in your Downloads folder.
If Windows shows a blue warning, choose More info, then Run anyway
Windows shows this SmartScreen notice for new apps that few people have installed yet. If you are unsure, write to support@koltype.com before you run it.

Follow the short setup
Koltype installs for your Windows user only (no administrator rights needed), adds itself to the Start menu and starts with Windows. You can change that in Settings.
Sign in and try it
Choose Sign in and confirm in your browser. Koltype downloads its speech model for your computer once (about 1.6 GB). Then hold Ctrl + Win and talk. To try Koltype Cloud, open Settings, Billing and choose Try 30 minutes free.

Windows: Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. Koltype does not run on Mac, iPhone or Android.
Microphone: Any built-in, USB or Bluetooth microphone or headset
Internet: To sign in, for Koltype Cloud, and for a plan check at least once every 14 days
On your computer: About 2 GB of free disk space for the speech model; a recent processor makes it faster
Computers: Up to 3 per account
App languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Portuguese (Brazil), Korean, Italian, Polish, Turkish, Hebrew, Arabic and Dutch
